After more than a year of planning, The Book Lovers Ball is now one for the books! A lively crowd came out on Saturday night for a wonderful evening of silent and live auctions, dinner and dancing, all to support the Carlisle Education Foundation and the new learning commons. While we’re still tallying the final numbers, we have reached our goal and hope to have the new technology in place in the learning commons by September. Thank you to all of our guests and to our donors who support our mission through their generous support of CEF. We also thank principals Dennet Siddell and Carrie Wilson for donating their time to attend and speak at the event.
CEF is fortunate to have a fabulous team of volunteers who helped make the auction a great success. In particular, we thank Joanna and Kevin Quinlan for donating the gorgeous flower arrangements and plants that adorned our tables and the Rare Book Room. We also wish to thank Bart Kalkstein for his musical prowess in getting the crowd up and dancing the night away. Many local businesses contributed items to our auction, so we hope you will mention CEF when you visit their establishments.
We also wish to thank our generous sponsors:
